About me

I am a illustrator, animator and general storyteller. I studied BA Comics at Teesside University and am now studying a masters in 2d Animation and Stop Motion, also at Teesside. I specialise in traditional mediums, using mostly a mixture of collage and inks. I enjoy both 2D animation and stop motion but prefer the latter as I enjoy being hands on.

Much of my work is biographical focusing on those who were influential and impactful in their area and even the world, but who have been forgotten and overlooked. Or in the case my current project, 'Row Boats',  those who have impacted me personally. In my other fictional work I often create more playful stories and visuals, interested in how innocent looking images can be used to hide deeper and darker stories that would originally be assumed.
